My Philosophy
Continued Learning
Inherent in my love for teaching is my love for continued learning. I firmly believe that in order to teach something well, one must be a master of the material. I enjoy the process of learning – asking new questions, the process of discovery, finding the answers, applying the knowledge to new situations.
Teaching Beliefs and Values
I believe teaching is a huge responsibility. Teaching and learning go hand-in-hand. Being a loyal, lifelong learner is important in becoming an effective teacher and continuing to be a meaningful educator. I believe in the responsibility of the teacher and learner to be engaged in continuous, dedicated knowledge-seekers and to remain inquisitive about things around them. I encourage learners to look for opportunities to search for new answers to old questions.
